By using Hostlinko’s services, you agree to these TOS. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account and your clients’ accounts. Hostlinko offers a range of services including web hosting, domain registration, reseller hosting, VPS hosting, cloud hosting, and SSL certificates. Before signing up for any of our hosting plans or services, all customers must consent to our terms and conditions. You agree to use only licensed and legitimate third-party software when using our services. Hostlinko reserves the right to suspend or terminate a customer's access to any or all of our services at any time if we determine that the account has been misused or used inappropriately.

Hostlinko agrees to provide services to customers in compliance with these TOS and the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and to deactivate any account for policy violations. Hostlinko will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of the AUP.
Hostlinko may change these TOS and the AUP at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. Changes in policy are not grounds for early contract termination or non-payment.
We will provide you with at least fourteen (14) days’ notice of your renewal pricing before the payment due date for monthly, annual, or longer-term plans. Unless otherwise provided, Hostlinko will automatically bill your payment method on file as follows:
You expressly acknowledge, agree, and authorize us to automatically bill the applicable fee and/or charge your credit card or other payment methods on file for each Renewal Term, unless you terminate or cancel the Services prior to such charge as provided in this section. All fees are billed in the purchase currency and are subject to change with prior notice to you.
Hostlinko is only able to automatically collect payments from customers with credit cards stored on file. All other payment methods (e.g., PayPal one-time payments, Rave by Flutterwave, and any other connected payment gateway) must be initiated manually by you. It is your responsibility to ensure that all fees are paid no later than their payment due date.
As a customer of Hostlinko, it is your responsibility to ensure that all billing information on file with Hostlinko is accurate and that any credit card or other automated payment method on file has sufficient funds for processing. You are solely responsible for any and all fees charged to your payment method by the issuer, bank, or financial institution including, but not limited to, membership, overdraft, insufficient funds, and over-the-credit-limit fees. Hostlinko screens all orders for fraud. In certain cases, if your account is flagged for fraud, your order will not be processed. Hostlinko has no liability for not providing Services, including third-party services, if your account fails the fraud screen.
You must utilize Hostlinko's services exclusively for lawful purposes. Transmission, storage, or presentation of any information, data, or material in violation of the laws of Nigeria or the United States is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, threatening or obscene material, or material protected by trade secrets or other statutes. By agreeing to these terms, you indemnify and hold harmless Hostlinko from any claims resulting from your use of the service which damages you or any other party.
Hostlinko reserves the right to terminate Services for any customer or End User activity that exposes it to legal liability or endangers its ability to provide services to other customers. The following activities are considered violations of this Agreement:
Additionally, hosting accounts may not be resold unless the account is a Reseller account, VPS, or dedicated server. Reselling of individual services within any single account such as web space, email accounts, add-on domains, or mailing lists is prohibited. All domains, add-on domains, and subdomains must be for sites controlled by or promoting published content or businesses solely controlled by the owner of the account.
Hostlinko performs nightly backups of Shared Hosting, Reseller Hosting, and WordPress hosting accounts; however, these backups are for Hostlinko's administrative purposes only and are NOT GUARANTEED! Customers are responsible for maintaining their own backups on their personal computers. Hostlinko does not provide any compensation for lost or incomplete data if backups do not function properly, even if the malfunction was due to negligence on Hostlinko's part. We strive to ensure complete and accurate backups but assume no responsibility for this duty. Always back up your site to your personal computer! We make no guarantees about the availability of backups.
You may not use your hosting account as a backup solution. Our Services are designed to host your website only and may not be used as a data repository. Hostlinko reserves the right to remove backups from your hosting account with or without notice.
We may also delete the following types of files if we find them to be using excessive amounts of disk space, especially if affecting other customers:
cPanel-generated backups stored on the server will be automatically deleted after seven (7) days. Backups older than 7 days may be removed at our discretion.
While our Backups system supports almost any characters for filenames (UTF-8), there are special characters/symbols that are generally best avoided, as there are specific limitations across various filesystems and storage destinations that can cause unintended issues with your backups. This list is not exhaustive and is meant to help determine and avoid errors regarding filenames and your backups.

If we terminate or suspend your hosting service or any other services you have with Hostlinko due to violation of the company's policy/terms and conditions of services, we will not provide any backup for any data.
SPAMing, or the sending of unsolicited email, from a Hostlinko server or using a return email address that is maintained on a Hostlinko server, is STRICTLY prohibited. Using SPAM to advertise a site hosted on Hostlinko's network also constitutes a violation of this provision. Hostlinko will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Sites found to be in violation of our SPAM policies will be immediately deactivated.
For anyone intentionally spamming on our systems, we reserve the right to bill them at a rate of $100/hour for any cleanup, research, and related work from their illegal activities.

At Hostlinko, we strive to ensure your satisfaction with our services. We offer a 14 Days Money Back Guarantee for our web hosting plan. The 14 days money back guarantee is only applicable to only web hosting plans. The 14 Days Money Back Guarantee period ends exactly 14 days from the day your account was originally activated, not the day the order was placed. It is not valid for account renewals. Additionally, this guarantee is void if your account violates our Terms of Service, Service Agreement, or any of our policies. Please note that setup fees are non-refundable, and external services such as dedicated IP addresses and installation charges are also non-refundable. Outside of the Money Back Guarantee period, Hostlinko has a no refund policy. Any account credits issued will remain on the account for two (2) years after the last hosting account is canceled. If the service credit is not utilized within that time frame, it will be forfeited. Please be aware that only first-time accounts are eligible for a refund. If you've had a previous account with us that was canceled and then signed up again, or if you have opened a second account, you will not be eligible for a refund. Hosting accounts suspended due to overdue invoices must be renewed within 14 days of suspension. If the hosting account is not renewed within 14 days, a redemption fee of 1,000 Naira will be added to the renewal invoice to keep the website backup on our server for an additional 16 days. If the invoice is not cleared within this period, the hosting account and all backups will be automatically terminated and will no longer be renewable. Please note that all files will be irretrievably lost in this case.
This policy also applies to services suspended for violations of our terms and conditions. You must contact us within 14 days to get your service reactivated, otherwise, it will be terminated from our server.
Attempting to dispute or chargeback payments without valid reason will result in service suspension and fines. Such actions are considered fraudulent and will be treated as such.
Users are prohibited from violating or attempting to violate the security of Hostlinko. Violations of system or network security may result in civil or criminal liability. Hostlinko will investigate occurrences, which may involve cooperation with law enforcement authorities in prosecuting Users who are involved in such violations. These violations include, without limitation:
Violations of system or network security are prohibited and may result in criminal and civil liability. Examples include, but are not limited to, the following: Unauthorized access, use, probe, or scan of a system's security or authentication measures, data or traffic. Interference with service to any user, host, or network including, without limitation, mail bombing, flooding, deliberate attempts to overload a system, and broadcast attacks. Forging of any TCP-IP packet header or any part of the header information in an email or a newsgroup posting.
Users have the responsibility of keeping their confidential login details private. Hostlinko is not to be held responsible for security breaches due to negligence or exposing their Hostlinko account login details, cPanel, WordPress admin login, etc.
In the event fraud is discovered, the fraudulent customer is subject to immediate suspension/termination at the sole discretion of Hostlinko. All information available to Hostlinko about the fraudulent account will be submitted to both local authorities, as well as any financial institutions involved. All fraud orders are investigated, and all fraudulent customers will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, whether it is within Nigeria or abroad.
Hostlinko is not liable for service interruptions beyond our control. Our maximum liability for negligence is limited to the service charges during the period of interruption. Attempts to violate the TOS/AUP may result in immediate termination of services without refund. A fine of one hundred fifty (150) USD may be implemented for intentional server abuse or TOS/AUP violation.
Hostlinko provides hardware support and limited software support. Fully managed services include support for default software installations. Additional support is available for a fee. Hostlinko does not provide support to third-party customers.
All server-related updates will be handled by us. However, we do not offer support for web development issues or code debugging.
At Hostlinko, we prioritize treating our customers with the utmost respect. In return, we expect the same from you. If our staff feels that you are consistently addressing them in a demeaning or rude manner, your account may be suspended, and you may be asked to take your business elsewhere. In the event that we terminate service for support abuse, customers will be given ten (10) days' notice to find a new host.
Hostlinko will be the sole arbiter as to what constitutes a violation of this provision. Accounts found in violation of this provision will be subject to immediate account deactivation. Hostlinko will turn all available information about abuse incidents, including customer contact data, over to the proper authorities and press charges.
Hostlinko offers data transfer services as a courtesy. We cannot guarantee the availability or success of data transfers. Free transfers are available for the first 30 days; charges apply thereafter. Hostlinko reserves the right to migrate accounts between data centers without notice for compliance or technical reasons.
We take DMCA complaints seriously. Violations of copyright laws will result in account suspension or termination. Repeated violations will lead to permanent termination. To report DMCA violations, please email [email protected] with the subject "DMCA".
Customers must manage their usage within allocated limits. Exceeding these limits may result in warnings and service suspension. Hosting accounts are not for remote file storage. Customer programs and services must not use more than 90% of one CPU core per process thread for more than 15 minutes.
Accounts causing IP blacklisting will be suspended or terminated. Operating on behalf of persons or firms listed in the Spamhaus Register of Known Spam Operations database is a violation of this AUP.
Unauthorized access and security breaches are prohibited and may result in legal action. Customers must secure their accounts and servers. Prohibited actions include:
Activities affecting service availability for others are prohibited. Clients must ensure their servers are secure. Unauthorized entry or use of another system will result in immediate account termination.
Hostlinko makes no endorsements or claims regarding the services offered by our customers and will not be liable for any disputes or claims against said customers. Hostlinko is not responsible for any content on any server in our network.
Customers agree to potentially having to submit to fraud checking measures, including providing a scan copy of a credit card authorization form, a front side screenshot of the credit card used, and a valid photo ID.
The customer agrees to protect, indemnify, and hold Hostlinko harmless from any and all liabilities, losses, expenses, claims, and reasonable attorney’s fees incurred by Hostlinko, its agents, officers, employees, and administration arising from any services provided or performed, or agreed to be performed, or any products sold by the customer, its agents, employees, or assigns. Furthermore, the customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Hostlinko harmless against liabilities arising from: Any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or distributed in association with Hostlinko services; The loss of any electronic files provided by the customer or the customer's customers; Copyright infringement and any defective products sold to a customer from Hostlinko services.
You are required to provide current, complete, and accurate information about yourself for your Account information and the WHOIS information for your domain name(s). This includes information about the Registered Name Holder, administrative, technical, and billing contacts. For individual Registered Name Holders, this includes full name, postal address, email address, voice telephone number, and fax number if available. For organizations, associations, or corporations, the name of an authorized contact person must be provided. The required data elements are specified in Subsections 3.3.1.2, 3.3.1.7, and 3.3.1.8 of the 2013 ICANN Registrar Accreditation Agreement (RAA). You must keep this information current, and update it as necessary. Failure to provide requested information may result in the inability to obtain certain Services. Any changes to this information must be made within seven (7) days of the change. You may also provide information regarding the name-servers assigned to your domain name(s). If complete name-server information is not provided, we reserve the right to supply this information and point your domain name to a website of our choosing until you provide the name-server information. Newly registered domain names will default to using our name-servers, which will load our default parking page. However, you have the option to provide new name-server information by logging into your account.
